Beth Averill has had many years of experience as a Physio working in the Musculo-Skeletal field.
Over the years she has developed a particular interest in treating people from opposite ends of the age spectrum. Firstly, adolescents – with injuries associated with growing and poor posture. Secondly, the elderly – with injuries and ailments associated with the aging process and poor posture!
More recently, Beth has ventured into Cancer Rehabilitation and is now largely involved in treating women with cancer through the Pinc & Steel Cancer Rehabilitation Programme.
Beth runs the Early Intervention Screening Programme. This is funded through the Hawkes Bay Breast Cancer Trust and is a specific screening programme for those who are having breast surgery.
To complement this, Beth is also a Certified Lymphoedema Therapist and a Certified Bradcliff Breathing Practitioner.
She finds that all these skills blend very well together when treating not only women who are going through their Cancer journey but in all other areas of therapy.
